Brad began his career serving as a U.S. Marine. He was his unit’s Training NCO, scheduling various courses and training exercises required by USMC standards. After leaving the military, he spent a few years in college and became an Illinois Certified Paramedic and Emergency Rescue Technician. He spent 12 years in Emergency Medical Services, while also teaching college EMS and Health Courses.
Brad holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Illinois University and took advance studies in Workforce Education and Development through the Graduate School at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He has worked for several major companies over the past 25+ years, holding various positions in safety, training and loss control and was recognized as Safety Specialist of the Year at a previous company, which is the third largest employer in the U.S. He believes that training and education are the key to preventing injuries and decreasing claims and losses. He is a Certified Safety Professional and OSHA Outreach Trainer in Construction and General Industry.
Brad resides in Carlyle, his hometown, where he enjoys spending time with family and friends.
