Richard Guger

Rich is a Claims Advocate and a member of the Illinois Public Risk Fund team since December 2017. He graduated from Western Illinois University with a B.S in Law Enforcement and a minor in political science and industrial security.

Rich was first introduced to Illinois Workers’  Compensation in 1989 where he did his internship at the State of Illinois Attorney General’s Office Workers’ Compensation Division. After completing his internship, Rich went on to work for a major law firm as a paralegal that specialized in workers’ compensation and personal injury. In May 1998, Rich changed direction and started to work as claim representative for one of the country’s largest third part administrators. Rich’s extensive knowledge and work ethic has demonstrated his commitment to solving all problems he is faced with while providing outstanding customer service to the injured employee and the member.
